ABOUT GREENWICH BOAT CHARTERS
Greenwich Boat Charters was formed in 2007 when a hedge fund manager from Greenwich, Connecticut wanted to play a round of golf on Long Island one summer morning, have lunch, play a second round of golf in the afternoon and be back in Greenwich before the market closed.
The only way to do that conveniently, and avoid the traffic was to go by boat! Greenwich Boat Charters was founded six years ago with its first very satisfied customer. It has been providing extraordinary service to its many satisfied customers ever since!
Since then, Greenwich Boat Charters has branched out by offering sailing cruises on Long Island Sound. In addition, Greenwich Boat Charters offers powerboat instruction and sailing lessons for anyone from beginners who have never been on the water, to experts who would like a refresher lesson.
All cruises are operated by USCG Captain licensed personnel. In six years of operations, Greenwich boat Charters has maintained a perfect safety record. Please read our testimonial pages, and let our customers tell you of their experiences!
For its powerboat cruises, Greenwich Boat Charters will use vessels from 72 feet in length, to runabouts with swim platforms suitable for swimming, and all the all the way down to 8 feet inflatable dinghies suitable for pulling up on the beach. For the sailing cruises, Greenwich Boat Charters uses various vessels from 70 foot America's Cup racers, to 35 foot long day sailors, and all the way down to 10 foot long Windsurfers!
